Good morning or good evening, wherever you may be. It is just past 4:00 a.m. in "The City." I think it's time for a slight format change, so here goes.
Yesterday, was a great day for learning and exploring. Sugar the Weather Dog and I went for the morning/afternoon walk while Mary as on chat. It was a great day just to be. Most days in our little corner of the world are like that. Sugar was her usual self, exploring and enjoying our time together. We spent some time in Central Park, just sitting and watching the wold go by.
Once I got home, it was time for a meal and then I took time to add Bluetooth to my computer. I say I took time, because with a little assist from our IT department, the task was completed and my new wireless speakers were up and running. They sound great.
We had almost gone out to get the replacement phone, but just in the nick of time, our IT department came on line and provided that aforementioned assist. Then we were off to the phone store. They were simply wonderful at the store. The necessary items were transferred from the old phone to the new, and then we traveled to our favorite watering hole. All good.
We returned home to watch some TV, have a light snack, and then I was ready for bed. That happens sometimes after some adult beverages are consumed. I left Mary to her own devices and I was soon fast asleep.
Here I am now. The trains have already been through and I only heard one.
Since it is April 1. the garden centers are beginning to open in our area. We'll be off to visit one after the sun rises at 7:27 a.m., well actually a little later in the morning, but you get the idea. The temperature is expected to peak around 57° under sunny skies.
I have to find time to finish the cold frame, but since we have to wait for the ground to thaw enough to work, I should have a few days. However, the nice day will make driving a pleasure instead of a chore. The sun will return to its rest at 8:10 p.m.
As I said earlier, I'm trying this new format and I hope you like it. Ciao.
