Good morning or good evening, wherever you may be, across the nation ans across the world. It is just past 9:15 p.m. in "The City."

Where shall I begin, to tell the story of the weather conditions here in the Tri-Cities area?

We have a current temperature of 44° that feels like 36° with winds out of the south @ 20 mph! The NWS is reporting a barometric pressure of 29.78" of mercury and rising, while my DTWS is showing 29.21" and falling.

We also have a series of Warnings about to go into effect for Southwest Michigan, starting @ 1:00 a.m. EDT tomorrow.

First, there will be a High Wind Warning beginning @ that aforementioned 1:00 a.m. hour tomorrow, and continuing until 7:00 p.m. tomorrow night, for Allegan, Muskegon, Oceana, Ottawa, and Van Buren Counties. Winds out of the south @ 20 - 30 mph with gusts up to 40 mph, will increase to 25 - 35 mph out of the west, with gusts to 50 - 60 mph! Those gusts may produce waves of 12 - 16 feet in height!

That means that we will also have a Gale Warning in effect for that same time period and for those same counties.

If that wasn't enough, there is also a Storm Warning in effect from 4:00 a.m. tomorrow morning until 7:00 p.m. tomorrow night, from St. Joseph to Manistee. The chance of rain will be 90%!, with a strong possibility of downed power lines and outages, along with fallen trees.

In addition, there will be a Lakeshore Flood Warning from 1:00 a..m. tomorrow to Monday @ 1:00 a.m. Significant erosion of the lakeshore and dunes is expected.

I'd like to say that we accomplished a lot yesterday, but all we managed was our regular indoor chores. I completed a crossword puzzle, played and practiced lots of music, (guitar playing good, singing, not so much), did a great deal of reading, and made time for the regular visits to the back-forty by our fur-children. I guess we did more than I thought.

Our brunch was vegan pizza ala Mary, which included a slightly augmented canned pizza sauce, my vegan pepperoni, pineapple, and vegan cheese blend. It was spectacular!

Before dinner, we watched another episode of Lark Rise to Candleford. Dinner was a pasta salad along with my vegan Italian burgers as we watched another of our dwindling episodes of Dharma and Greg

Yesterday afternoon, I bailed out on  the game between the 1 - 3 Michigan State Spartans and the 3 - 0 Hoosiers of Indiana. The Spartans were never in the game that they lost, 0 - 24.

Earlier, I watched part of the game between the 1 - 2. soon to be 1 - 3 Wolverines of Michigan, and the 1 - 0, soon to be 2 - 0 Badgers of Wisconsin. At halftime, the Wolverines were losing 0 - 28. Nuff said.

Tomorrow, we have plans to stay inside and avoid the inclement weather. The fur-children will not be happy, but we won't be sorry to stay in with the exception of their regular visits.

The sun will rise tomorrow @ 7L:36 a.m .and set later @ 5:21 p.m. after we reach our temperature zenith of 53° and before we see our low temperature nadir of 36°. Ciao.
