Good evening GH. It is fast closing on 12:00 a.m. in "The City." Our current temperature is 54° coming off a high today of 57°. Tomorrow the high is not expected to get past 45° under rainy skies. I guess that it's a good thing that Mary, Sugar the Weather Dog, and I got out for nice walk early Wednesday afternoon. I was able to get to my P/T appointment and then home to do a little yard work on the palatial estate. Given the forecast for light rain in the morning on Thursday, and steady rain in the afternoon, Sugar will be getting a short walk tomorrow.

Later Wednesday, Mary and I walked downtown for dinner. All together, I put another five miles on my feet. I have no plans other than to walk Sugar in the morning and perhaps to bake my world famous banana nut bread. My Sous Dog and I work well together in Mary's kitchen. Best of all, I get help with clean up from Sugar, who never met a banana she didn't like.

I am still working on our puzzle, but if I don't get it finished Thursday, no problem. There's always another day. Like always, what doesn't get done one day waits until the next day or the next.

I am still reading that book I got out of the library. However, it isn't having the effect that I'd hoped. I like sci-fi, but this book is a tough read. I may have to get deeper in, but I prefer books that draw me in and make me want to read them. So far, this book isn't one of those.

In sports, the boys in blue moved to 3 - 5 on the season with a 7 - 5 victory over the Pirates. The Tigers are still playing in L.A., so their final score is unknown. Right now they are down by one, 2 - 3 to the Dodgers. My beloved Red Sox defeated the Rangers 4 - 2, so they are at 4 - 5 in the A.L. East. The Caps fell to the Timber Rattlers, 1 - 6.

So that looks like enough for today and tomorrow. Sunrise tomorrow will be at 7:12 and sunset at 8:19 p.m. No trains yet tonight, but it's still early. I heard trains last night, but I didn't add them into my blog. Ciao.
