Good morning GH. It is a bleak looking sunrise today. Currently, we are at 26 degrees, and expecting a high of only 30. No real relief from the cold is expected until the 28th, that's Thursday of next week, when the temperatures are expected to get to and stay in the low forties. I am so ready.

Today I have an appointment at the library with my students. I hope that all goes well. He has promised that he will make it today, but I have heard that before. Speaking of the library, Mary and I stopped in yesterday and picked up some additional books for our cold weather reading. If I felt that it was going to be warmer sooner, I might not, but as I noted earlier, that isn't likely until the middle of next week.

I have an appointment at the orthopedist for my knees this morning. I hate to have to drive, but when it comes to my knees, I can't walk all that well for a couple of days after the treatments. Overall, they are better, but the treatment can be painful.  Oops, I should have consulted my dare book. I had written the reschedule in there.

Otherwise, I'd best get going. My appointment is at 9:00 AM and I have to get ready to go. Mary can let Sugar the Weather Dog out when she gets up. Sugar can rediscover the snow this morning. For her it's all new.  Ciao.
