Good early morning GH. Although I shouldn't, I got up early to get a start on my day. Well, not really. I got up because I was restless and didn't want to disturb Mary, like that's possible.  Even when you think she is awake she may not be.  I wish I could sleep like that. Sugar the Weather Dog sleeps like, well like a dog.  Sound asleep one second, wide awake the next. However, she has been known to be half asleep and in need of a good stretch and scratch when she rises.

Our current temperature is somewhere between 21 and 23 degrees, depending on the source you consult. My personal weather station has the temperature at 23, so I'll rely on that one.  I often wish that there would be agreement from the various sources, but where's the fun in that?

Mary and I journeyed to Holland Friday for some kitchen items.  There is a great store there that Mary likes, so it's not too far to go. Plus, after pouring some fuel injector cleaner in the old buggy, it was a good opportunity to get in some auto exercise.  Adam would likely approve.

Prior to our trip, I installed the new towel bars in the upstairs bathroom. Now, Mary has decided to get another because the last of the old ones now doesn't look as good. I must say, that the easy "DIY" directions that call for two different sizes of drill bits, a drill motor, a hammer, a level, and a Phillips head screwdriver, aren't all that user friendly. Fortunately for me, those tools are some of the things that I kept when we moved.

Otherwise, Sugar took me for a long walk on Friday morning, which was good for both of us. Saturday morning, I plan to listen to some of the mountain music show after listening to a show about auto repair that is locally produced and which I find interesting. No real reason, but you don't have to work on cars on a regular basis to appreciate the people who call in and want to know what to do to keep their 19... car run better at 200 thousand miles plus an which has had the check engine light on for the last year and a half etc. Amusing in most cases, if not very informative. I also plan to let Sugar take me for another walk.  A dog's gotta do what a dog's gotta do.
