The current temperature is 48° under mostly-cloudy skies with winds of 22 mph that make it feel more like 41°. Today's high is forecast to be 49°!
A Small Craft Advisory remains in effect until 8:00 a.m. tomorrow, from St Joseph to Grand Haven. South winds to 30 knots and waves from 3 to 6 feet are expected. Conditions will be hazardous to small craft. Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller vessels, should avoid navigating in these hazardous conditions.
The sun will rise today @ 8:06 a.m. and set later @ 7:45 p.m.
We walked the fur-children yesterday, since they won't get out today due to a 100% chance for rain and windy conditions. Then, we walked to the Community Center to see Old Ringers by Joseph Simonelli, directed by Andrew Kitchka.and produced by Barb DeVries. We had a great time! The cast was small, seven players in all, but they delighted the audience and elicited laughter at every turn.
Up next for the Central Park Players, a production of Alice in Wonderland scheduled for early May.
I fondly remember many years of working behind the scenes to bring numerous shows, musicals, and productions to life during my career at Cooper Middle School in Buffalo Grove, IL. A lot of work goes into any production on the part of the actors, the director, the stage-crew, and the young people who make the lights and sound come alive.
Once we returned home, Mary started another batch of her soon to be famous pasta sauce, this one totally from scratch. Her supply of Pomi™ tomato sauce cannot be replenished as it comes from Italy and you know what is happening there. I busied myself making another 17 vegan Italian meatballs from that old family recipe. Once again, I don't know whose old family, but the "meatballs" were a very tasty addition to Mary's sauce and the penne pasta that she made as the base.
During dinner, we watched When Harry Met Sally starring Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan. We've watched this movie many times, but we always get a laugh.
Today, we plan to stay indoors and out of trouble. The fur-children will be going out on their tether and that will be the extent of our/their outdoor activities. Both Mary and I have many things to keep ourselves busy. Ciao.
