Good morning or good evening, wherever you may be. It is just past 6:00 a.m. in "The City."
What can I say, yesterday, like Maverick and Goose, I felt the need, the need for speed! So, that being said, I think it is time for some right now, so here is a trailer from YouTube™ as a tickler/teaser for all of you Top Gun aficionados out there. Buckle up!

In order to get to the movie, I took a ride on my bicycle to our local theater, where a ginormous
cherry-cola and a medium-sized popcorn sustained me through all the
action. Due to being on my bicycle, I rode home rather sedately, so it was probably a good thing that Mary had the car to run some errands. There are rumors that a sequel is due out in 2019, but so far, they are just that. rumors. Sigh.
Today, the sun will rise @ 6:22 a.m. and set later @ 9:19 p.m. A current temperature of 57° will lead to a forecast high of 82° under partly cloudy skies, but no rain. Tomorrow, Friday. the NWS is forecasting an 80% chance for T-storms followed by a similar forecast for Saturday.
Ginger and I were here for both passages of the train on the RSTL. The morning southbound run was an abbreviated train that passed by @ 8:44 a.m. with MMRR locomotive #2025, towing one CHC, one, DBTC, and one rusty, once upon a time DWTC/
Later, before I set off on my need for speed, Ginger and I spotted that same locomotive heading north, towing tow DBTCs, one GTC, one, DWTC, six, CHCs, and two, very new looking, safety-orange CHCs.
Otherwise, not much was happening. No baseball and no need to water. Today, I will be doing that activity. I probably should mow the vast lawns too.
I finished a novel and am ready to start another before the next indexing project comes in and I will have to be spending my time on highlighting. Ciao.
