Good morning or good evening, wherever you may be. It is just past 5:30 a.m. in "The City."

I started out on the horns of the proverbial dilemma and stayed there throughout the entire game yesterday between the Tigers and my beloved Red Sox. The final score was 6 - 1 in favor of the Tigers. Both teams are now in 2nd place in their respective divisions. Their next game is today @ 1:10 p.m.

The Cubs still aren't scoring runs. They lost to the Brewers 1 - 2 to also fall into 2nd place. Their next game is tonight @ 7:10 p.m.

We made our returns yesterday and made some additional purchases in what turned out to be a very productive day. We are anticipating excellent weather today with a high temperature of 62° under sunny skies and winds of 10 - 20 mph. Tomorrow looks even better. Then the temperatures will drop for several days with rains returning. We have a current temperature of 36° under dark skies.

Mary made both spicy tomato loaf and extraordinary beest. I understand that she added three tablespoons versus three teaspoons of some spice to the spicy tomato loaf. Time will tell what that will mean to the taste.

Today, gardening, and reading. John will be here to do more work in the bathroom. We are making progress. I will be finishing the vanity today too.
