Good morning GH.  A quick look out the Weather Window confirms what the Weather Rock and Sugar the Weather Dog have already told me, it is raining out.  Current outdoor temperature, according to the desktop, is 46 degrees.  Of course, the skies are cloudy too.  Here in GH, this day is not very different from many others.  Tomorrow, is the Earth Day celebration in GH.  A parade, a mini marathon, and the like are scheduled.  We expect the day to be cool, but dry.  From what I understand, the worst of the rain storms have passed to the north of our fair city.  That's okay with me.  As much as I like walking in the rain, Sugar is not so inclined.   She could go all day without going out in this weather.  Snow good; rain bad, as far as Sugar is concerned.  We got the estimate from the landscape designer yesterday.  Not stratospheric, but not inexpensive either.  We are awaiting the painter's estimate on the deck job, and then we can decide how we want to proceed.  After paying income taxes earlier this week and as we are anticipating the arrival of the real estate tax bill, that tends to temper our thinking just a bit.  The real estate taxes will be lower than they were in our old home, but they are still an expenditure.  Mostly, though we are thinking that we should take it slow and then go from there.  Since we may also need a roof next year, we have to anticipate that expense too.  Otherwise, I have been watching the Morning Joe show, live from Fenway Park in Boston, and they were rerunning all of the famous and infamous events associated with Fenway and my beloved Red Sox.   Hard to believe, but there have been many, but at this point, I think the Cubs have them by a bit.  Who knows for sure.  Otherwise, it is.....Tea time.
