Good morning GH. I can truly say that it is morning, since it is about 3:10 AM. The weather window isn't much help this morning, because as you can guess, it is still too dark out. However, the radio reports indicate a partly sunny day is afoot with a chance of showers and a high of about 62 degrees. The rest of the week calls for temperatures in the lower 60s and that isn't bad for this time of year. In fact, you can say that that is more like the normal temperatures here in GH. In Holland, they are already warning that people should get out and see the tulips before they are gone. So, in spite of the fact that the tulips that were planted are late bloomers, they will be done before the annual tulip fest in early May. Mary and I are still waiting for the tulips to bloom in our tulip pot, but they are close and may come yet this weekend. I got all of the patio furniture assembled yesterday, and then spent some time enjoying a new perspective. As Mary pointed out, when you sit at the back of the yard, you get a different perspective on the house and yard, and not an unpleasant one. It took Mary about 20 minutes to mow the lawn with the push mower, which for a first effort with a new machine was great. Mary and I both raked some and pronounced the effort rewarding enough for our desires. Who says you need a bigger yard, not me. While we were out, working, Sugar enjoyed a new bone. With fresh meat and flavor, she was in dog heaven. When Sugar doesn't notice that dinner hour has come and gone, you know she is engrossed. I should note that the previous evening, Mary created the new valance for the front door. Looks great and best of all, it is one more thing off her list. She also found time to fix my scrubs and my night shirt, so she was most productive. Otherwise, that's all that is happening here in the middle of a GH night. I think I'll read some and then go back to bed. Tea time will come, just a bit later. Hope this blog posts, cause I am having difficulty getting that to happen.
