Good early morning GH.  Just yesterday evening I was talking to Steph about not getting up too early, and lo and behold, I have done it.  I should be able to go back to bed, but I decided that since I got up to watch the long freight train go by, I would take some time to blog.  The radio news was reporting the possibility of a freeze in several counties, but here in GH, the desktop reading is currently 42 degrees.  Sugar the  Weather Dog is still sound asleep and therefore no help here at 3:30 AM.  The Weather Window is unable to help because it is so dark this many hours before sunrise.  So, I am going to wing it and go with the forecast from Weather.com and expect rain peaking during the midday hours and cooler temperatures all day.  I've never been so inclined before, but what the heck, sometimes you just  have to throw caution to the winds and use another source.  It will be interesting to see how that works out.  Adam has plans to work on his car, but those temperature predictions will probably throw cold water on his plans to do some painting.  No way to know right now.  I do know that there was no precipitation visible in the train lights as it went rumbling through, so perhaps the forecast is wrong.  Or, since the forecast calls for the peak of shower activity at midday, then this is how it actually will turn out.  What a conundrum.  I don't know why, but that old Otis Redding song "Midnight Hour" just popped into my head; maybe because it is as dark as midnight.  I have an ability, which I am sure many do, to actually hear the horn section and Otis himself in my head.  Or, as I've said before, it is my own singular form of weirdness.  I think Adam would go with that, and perhaps would Mary would too.  Steph, I think she might be okay with that idea.  Anyway, it is time to go back to bed and finish up my night time nap.  Thanks for listening, and I'll see you during UP w/ Chris and of course, at.....Tea time.
