Good morning or good evening, wherever you may be. across the nation and across the world. It is just past 4:00 a.m. in "The City."

This is going to be a special edition of my regular blog. No weather report, no baseball scoreboard, and no extraneous things that seem to find their way into this space on a regular basis.
