Well, another day has come and gone. I decided against blogging yesterday due in large measure to the insanity that occurred in Washington, D.C. late yesterday. I was a witness to history and I just had to watch, like a moth drawn to a flame.
However, that doesn't mean that I was not thinking about blogging. It just means that sometimes, you have to put things in perspective and place them in their proper place.
We have a current temperature of 29° that feels more like 23° with a wind out of the north @ four mph. We also have a current barometric presure reading from the NWS of 30.37 and rising, while my own DTWS is showing 29.77 and steady.
Tonight's low will fall to only 23° before we rebound to tomorrow's high of 33° under sunny-skies. We've not seen consistently sunny skies for several days. Tomorrow's low will be a very chilly 19°
Tomorrow, the sun will rise @ 8:16 a.m. and it will set @ 5:26 p.m. The days are getting longer.
I am still reading Walk The Wire by David Baldacci and I am enjoying both the story and the large-print format.
I started putting some paint on two canvases in my studio today. I have to finish one edge on each canvas, as I had to let three out of four edges dry. I have some ideas that I want to express that require two darker background colors to make them come alive.
We spent time giving our fur-children pawdicures today. It was a tough fight, but we did it.
Later, while Mary and her wing gal Ginger, went to the library for a book pick up, I spent some time in the kitchen baking and steaming. Mary assisted both before and after she and Ginger returned. We'll see and taste how successful I was tomorrow.
Speaking of their road trip, Mary and Ginger discovered a new place to walk near Grand Haven State Park.
Once again, without being able to see what she was photographing, Mary captured a great scene with her Smart Phone camera. |
We have no specific plans for tomorrow. I want to put more paint on my canvasses, play more music, read more etc. Mary wants to just kick back. Ciao.
