Good morning or good evening, wherever you may be, across the nation and across the world. It is just past 5:30 a.m. in "The City."

The current temperature is 32° under cloudy skies with windy conditions, but it feels like 26°. Today's high is forecast to reach 39° under skies that will be rainy/snowy/windy, take your pick, even with that high temperature today  The sun will rise today @ 8:16 a.m. and set later @ 5:23 p.m.

There will be a Gale Warning in effect today from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m. Tuesday. Those Gale Force Winds will be blowing @ 35 to 40 knots, producing waves as high as 12 feet from St. Joseph to Manistee.

Yet another River Flood Warning is in effect from now until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday!

There will also be another Lakeshore Flood Advisory in effect for the "Big Lake" from 1:00 p.m. today until 7:00 a.m. Monday. Minor beach erosion and lakeshore flooding can be expected for most of the lakeshore counties in West Michigan. Just when you thought it was safe to go back into the water.

I watched some football yesterday in a peripheral or tangential way. In the late afternoon, I watched as the Houston Texans topped the Buffalo Bills, 22 - 19 in a close game. Later, I watched as the Tennessee Titans defeated the New England Patriots, 20 - 13. No Super Bowl for the Patriots this year.

Don't forget, that the pitchers and catchers report to spring training in just 38 days on February 12, 2020! Put it on the board! Yes! That's for my beloved Red Sox. The Cubs have yet to supply any reporting dates. Like they don't know.

I did some indoor chores and  finished my latest novel. I liked it so much, that I ordered several more in the series from the library. I may wear out my need to read before I am done, but I'll take that chance.

Otherwise, we took the fur-children for a walk, stopped in at JWs and then came home for a dinner of a vegan burger on a bun. We started our dinner @ JWs with some French-Fries, or were those Freedom-Fries? Either way, they made for nice ketchup and mustard delivery devices.

A short time ago, I finished the "B" side of Mary's bookmark. I made it simple and used only a few colors, but I like how it turned out.

Today, I have no specific plans. That's okay, since the fur-children got a walk yesterday, I think we can avoid that today with the rainy/snowy/windy conditions that have been forecast by the NWS. However, I may convince Mary to drive me to the shores of Lake Michigan so that I can take some action pix of the Gale Force Winds as they push the waves over the North Pier and onto the shore.  However, I don't know when the peak of the waves action will occur, so...

To give you and idea of what the lake can do, here is a video from YouTube™ and MLIVE™ of wave action in South Haven, MI from February of 2018. If you are like me and you don't like to wait to see a video, click the "Skip Ad" button when the time permits. Or, if you are into ads, watch at your leisure.

A sad side note. Recently, a young woman was lost to the lake as she and a boyfriend ventured onto the pier in Holland and were swept into the lake by the high winds and waves. He was rescued, she has yet to be found.

Ciao.
