Good early morning GH. We have just passed  3:30 in the AM, and the view out the Weather Window, before I turned on the lights here in my office, showed no weather activity. We are currently at 38 degrees, and the fog that was supposed to happen, isn't evident, yet. Of course that may change if the temperature goes up or down. We are expecting a high of 54 degrees, and the T-storms we were supposed to get on Monday are shown for today. Once again, we'll see.

I finally took all of my snow removal things to the man-cave, as I doubt if I will be needing them anymore this year.  I still have a few things to get before I can do the things that I want to do n the man-cave. I need a muffin tray to use as a parts sorting tray. I should be able to get one of those at the local dollar store for, a dollar.

I got some of the hardware items that I needed during our visit to New Era, MI the other day. I have a few more to get, but that is on tap for today, if the weather holds.

I have three appointments at the hospital today. I am scheduled for an x-ray on my aching right shoulder, a visit to the orthopedist for my knees and that same shoulder, and then some routine blood tests. I will be busy, and all before 10:00 AM. Who says you can't keep busy when you are retired?

We got the bill from the electrician on Monday. Mary and I each guessed at the amount before we opened the bill, kind of like Johnny Carson in his Karnak the Magnificent role. Mary guessed $300.00, I guessed $225.00, and the actual amount was...$120.00. To say the least, we were pleasantly surprised, and now we truly have an electrician here in our new town.

Ill let Mary tell you more about our Cubs home opener party in the future. Suffice it to say that the boys in blue found another way to lose. They staged a comeback late in the game, but it was too little and too late. Oh well, wait til next year, or at least next game.

My beloved Red Sox, beat the Orioles 5 - 2 on Monday, and coincidentally, they are also 5 - 2 in the new season. Our own local ball team, the West Michigan White Caps, won 11- 4 over the Ft. Wayne, IN Tin Caps. Those dreaded Yankees hammered the Tribe, 11 - 4. But, they are only second in their division, with a less than 500 record, which puts them behind my beloved Red Sox. The other Chicago ball team had no game on Monday, but they are at 4 - 2 in their division. Did I mention that there was a basketball game on Monday night? I fell asleep, but I heard this AM that the Michigan Wolverines gave up a 12 point lead in the first half and fell to the Louisville Cardinals, 82 - 76. Considering that they haven't been there in 20 years, it was all good. Wait til next year.

So, I'd best be heading back to bed so that I can get some sleep before my busy morning. Since I have those blood tests scheduled, no breakfast until I get back and I will wait on...Tea time until then. Ciao.
