Good morning or good evening, wherever you may be, across the nation and across the world. It is just after 8:30 a.m. in "The City."

The current temperature is 40° under rainy-skies with light rain in the forecast for the morning.  Winds of 10 mph that make it feel more like 34°. Today's high is forecast to be about 10° lower than yesterday @ 43°. It looks like we'll be stuck in the 40s and lower 50s for many days.

We are anticipating sunny-skies tomorrow and a high temperature of 45°.

A Small Craft Advisory is in effect from now until 12:00 p.m.this afternoon until 11:00 p.m. tonight. North winds of 5 to 15 knots with gusts up to 25 knots and waves 2 to 5 feet can be expected. from St Joseph to Manistee. As always, inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller vessels, should avoid navigating in hazardous conditions.

The sun rose today @ 7:21 a.m. and set later @ 8:15 p.m.

A quiet day yesterday. We tried to read on the deck, but the cooler than anticipated temperatures drove us and the fur-children indoors very quickly. We did work the crossword from Thursday's edition of the Grand Haven Tribune. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and a decline in revenues for the Grand Haven Tribune, the newspaper is "temporarily" suspending printing its Monday editions. I fear that this is the harbinger of a total shutdown of the print editions. We shall see.

I watched another episode of the Wayne Faust Home Show last night. Either he is getting better or I am just adapting to this less than active lifestyle.

Mary and I watched an Adult Coloring Session/lesson on separate PCs last night. This presentation was given by an artist, Rachel Reinert, from San Diego, CA beginning @ 7:30 PDT, but @ 10:30 EDT here in MI. We both learned a lot. Since our library remains closed, I cannot go to any Coffee and Coloring sessions until further notice, so this type of activity will have to suffice.

Earlier in the day, I wrote another chapter in my manuscript. I like how the story is unfolding in my imagination and on the computer screen. I can't wait to see where I am going with this story. I wonder if all authors experience this same sense of wonder and amazement?

Otherwise, I took time to make more vegan Italian meatballs and Mary took time to do some of that aforementioned organization and later some indoor chores.

Today, more reading, watering our seedlings in the man-cave, more music, more of staying away from other people. Ciao.
