Good morning or good evening, wherever you may be. It is just past 5:30 a.m. in "This City." A current temperature of 56° as we head towards today's high of 67° is wonderful. In GH, the snow is falling, the roads are icy, and the cars are sliding. In addition, the current temperature is 26°. The only positive in those numbers is that the weather advisory is scheduled to expire at 10:00 a.m. EST this morning.
Yesterday, we took a nice walk with Sugar the Weather Dog in the morning, and then Mary joined her business chat until her internet connection was severed. Then we had a terrific lunch of pasta with Mary's latest sauce creation. Naturally, I had oat cereal for breakfast with an apple to get my fruit for the day.
Then it was time to go to the Museum of Naval History in Pensacola and the fort nearby. The day was absolutely beautiful, T-shirt weather in fact, and we had a great time. While the museum is a tribute to naval aviation, there are also exhibits that tell the story of the years that included WWII, the depression years and the sacrifices necessary to win the war were well represented. There were so many planes, that I can't decide which to include. I'll add more in the future. I did include a picture from nearby Fort Barrancas directly below. I think that Old Glory flying over the ramparts looks magnificent in the late afternoon sun.

The Coast Guard is well represented at the museum. |

The museum is bigger than it looks. |

If everyone recycled or reduced now, as people did during WWII, this would be a better world. |
We finished up our trip to Pensacola with a stop at the health food store there and then returned to our local watering hole for happy hour. Home, and TV viewing ensued and then it was time for bed. The sun will be rising at 6:44 a.m. and set at 5:15 p.m. Ciao.
