Good morning GH. It is just after 3:00 a.m. in "The City." Not much has changed since I wrote my last blog yesterday afternoon. However, life would be less complete if I didn't have a few things to say each day or night.
Not much has changed outside the Weather Window either. It is still cold, it is still snow covered, and it is still quiet at this hour of the morning. It is 8° as we head for the low of 2°, although it feels like -5° due to the wind. Later today, it will get up to a more comfortable temperature of 20° with a 100% chance of one inch of new snow. The balance of the week, through Thursday, looks about the same.
Later today, I have to finish my work for Mary and then get to things that I want to do. My days just seem to be getting away from me.
I mentioned in my last blog that the trains would likely be passing through this morning. Turns out that I was right. I heard one pass by about 1:30 a.m. It was short, but fast moving as it headed south. That means that at some point, the northbound run should be going past. I hope to be back in bed by then.
Otherwise, not much is happening. Yesterday, we left the house to pick up a new supply of food for the intrepid one, and then we went off to the favorite watering hole for dinner. Today, I hope to stay in and avoid going out for any reason. Sugar may not agree, and we both could use the exercise, but we need to be exposed to dangerous wind chills even less.
So there you have it. My blog is done, the sun will rise at 8:15 a.m. and set at 5:21 p.m. Ciao.
