Good morning or good evening, wherever you may be, across the nation and across the world. It is just past 1:00 a.m. in "The City", where the current temperature is a brisk 25° with snow showers that are forecast to last until 6:00 a.m. It feels more like 13° with a wind out of the southwest @ 14 mph. Our overnight low will drop to today's high temperature of 21°, which is seven degrees colder than yesterday.

There is a Small Craft Advisory in effect from St. Joseph to Manistee, with wind speeds of 10 to 15 knots and gusts possible up to 25 knots, which may propel waves up to six feet in height. The sun will rise this morning @ 8:08 a.m. and set tonight @ 5:45 p.m.

It was a good day here at the manse. We finished the indoor chores, I worked on a crossword puzzle, Mary and I completed a small jigsaw puzzle, Mary is stitching an elephant, and we watched another two episodes of Virgin River, a show on Netflix

I did some painting, Mary did some cross-stitching, and the fur-children wanted more out time. Sadly, my old bones had to say no to their desires.

In the sports world, it was great to see that the Cincinnati Bengals defeated the Tennessee Titans yesterday afternoon, 19 - 16, while last night, the San Francisco Forty-Niners took down the Green Bay Packers in frigid Lambeau Field, 13 - 10. The only thing better than a Lions or Bears win over the Packers, is any team beating the Packers and their anti-vax QB, Aaron Rodgers. I enjoyed a bowl of popcorn while watching the ineptitude of the Packers.

Today, we have no plans except to stay indoors and paint, read, and cross-stitch more. I have no need to watch any more football, so it is likely that we'll watch more Virgin River which ends with this third season's episodes.

Otherwise, that's all folks! Ciao.
