Good morning or good evening, wherever you may be, across the nation and across the world. It is just past 10:00 p.m. in "The City."

The NWS is reporting a current temperature of 74° that feels like 74° with a wind out of the southeast @ 8 mph under partly-cloudy skies. Tomorrow's high-temperature will be a very comfortable San Diego-like 72°, albeit with a 96% chance for T-storms in the ayem, followed by cloudy-skies the balance of the day and perhaps a 45% chance for more showers on Friday. The sun will rise tomorrow @ 6:18 a.m. and set tomorrow evening @ 9:22 p.m.

In addition to the above forecast, the NWS has added a Beach Hazard Statement for Allegan, Mason, Muskegon, Ottawa, and Van Buren counties in Michigan from 2:00a.m. tomorrow until sometime tomorrow evening. Apparently the time will be announced later. Swimming conditions will be hazardous due to strong currents that can pull people under, especially on the south-side of piers. Also, the waves can sweep foolhardy people off of the piers too.

Further, there will be a Small Craft Advisory in effect from 2:00 a.m. tomorrow until 8:00 p.m. tomorrow night from St. Joseph to South Haven, and from Pentwater to Manistee. Once again, that advisory has skipped GH. Wind speeds of 15 to 25 knots and wave heights of three to five feet are possible.

I didn't go far with my camera today, but earlier in the week, Mary and her wing-gal, Ginger, took a walk to the waterfront and back. While there, Mary, AKA our Senior Staff Photographer, took some pix of what she and Ginger saw along the way.

Knowing that I am fond of things seen when looking down Mary snapped this pic.

Our own Lynne Sherwood Waterfront Stadium bandstand.

The Grand River channel looking towards the "Big Lake."

Late in the day, most of the boats were in dock.

Of course, not to be outdone, I took some picture earlier today of the Hydrangea flowers that Mary cut for viewing in our living room. I also pencil sketched her arrangement for later water-cooling too.

I am hoping for a nicer picture when I get this sketch colored.

This is what I was sketching in living color.

A closer view.

I read more today and did two crossword puzzles along with texting back and forth with our son regarding my orthopedist appointment that was for my first Radio Frequency Ablation ( RFA) on my yak. I received that treatment on the right-side and in two weeks, I'll get the same treatment on the left-side. Not very painful, owing I think in large-measure to the skills of Dr. Kapteyn and the staff at Orthopedic Associates of Muskegon, MI. But of course, I'll have a better handle on that tomorrow.

I didn't get any painting done today as the light was not streaming in the windows of my studio. Tomorrow doesn't look very promising either.

Mary made a new version of pizza for dinner that incorporated one of my vegan Italian sausages. This was a new crust. I agree with Mary, it was/is not a keeper.

This pizza looks better than it tasted.

There is no Major-League baseball tonight. All teams will be off until Friday. The American League won last night's All-Star game, 5 - 2.

The West-Michigan White Caps, AKA the Caps, fell to the Ft. Wayne TinCaps, 1 - 2. The Caps and the TinCaps play again tonight @ the Lake Michigan Credit Union Ballpark beginning @ 6:05 p.m.

So, other than that dentist appointment tomorrow, we have nothing on tap. Oh, there is one thing, I'm singing in the Rain, Just Singing in the rain. Why, because it is not raining right now, but it is Mary's birthday. Singing in the Rain  All good by me. Ciao.
