Good morning or good evening, wherever you may be, across the nation and across the world. It is just past 11:00 p.m. in The City."

What a difference a day makes. The rains stopped earlier today and the temperature peaked at 54°. The current temperature is 50° under partly-cloudy skies, but it feels like 47° with a wind out of the north @ 5 mph.

Tonight, the low will drop to 40°, before we rebound, albeit slightly, to tomorrow's high-temperature of 53° before tomorrow night's low of 41°. According to the latest forecast from the NWS, our high-temperatures will not get out of the mid to upper 50s for many more days.

The sun will rise tomorrow @ 7:09 a.m. and set tomorrow evening @ 8:23 p.m.

We had a thoroughly unremarkable day today. We finished a crossword puzzle, Mary read about the Buddha, and I read from a new novel I started today.

We also went walkabout to the GH City Hall to vote and then to the library for a pick up.

This vote was for a tax increase to benefit the GH schools and it will to be levied on residences that were not the principle residence of GH residents if it passes. In other words, we voted to tax rental properties.

Of course, we had our masks at the ready, just in case. Then it was  home for more reading, pizza preparations by Mary, more reading, and more TV viewing of the series Legends

I think, as I often do, that this was Mary's best pizza effort to date. I know that I often say that, but this is one of those times where I am absolutely certain.

Sweet red peppers, yellow banana peppers, mushrooms, onions, diced tomatoes, nutritional yeast, oregano, and my vegan salami combined to make this a delicious Sunday dinner after a 22 minute stint in the oven.

Which yielded this tasty repast.

A short sports report. Cubs lose, Tigers lose, and Red Sox win, big time! Tomorrow, the Cubs play the Brewers in Milwaukee @ 7:40 p.m. EDT, the Tigers travel to Houston for a game against the Astros 8:10 p.m. EDT, and the Red Sox move over to Minneapolis to face the Twins coming off a 14 - 9 drubbing of the Orioles that was replete with three home runs off the bat of surging J. D. Martinez. That game begins @ 2:10 p.m. EDT.

I nearly forgot. My coloring mentor, Kerry Fitzgerald, recently published a picture of her latest effort. Here it is for your oohs and ahs.

Kerry gave me permission to publish her work She is an outstanding colorist!

I was getting tired, so I came up to the media room to watch inane TV and that was about it. Mary stayed below to watch TV and read.

Tomorrow I have a routine tele-visit with my doctor and that's about all that is on the agenda. Ciao.
