Nat's ace starting pitcher, Max Scherzer, was brought in to shore up a shaky bullpen. He ended up surrendering many runs, only two earned, in a wild 7th inning that allowed the Cubs to win the deciding game, 9 - 8 and to head west to face the NL West division winners, the LA Dodgers, in a game tomorrow night @ 8:00 p.m.

Otherwise, I have little to say. I made a great batch of vegan sausages yesterday. In this case, a lack of oregano led to a substitution of Italian seasoning that produced an out of this world taste. Who knew?
