Good morning GH. It is currently 74 degrees here in the Weather Center, while the outside temperature is a comfortable 69 degrees. No real precipitation on the horizon, unless you count the 40% between 4:00 and 7:00 PM. After the gully washer we got here on Tuesday and the rain we recently drove through, that's nothing.
Sugar the Weather Dog comes home from camp today. She likes it there, but she'd rather be @ home. I like it that way too. Much to do today, and that may mean that I'll have to put some things off until tomorrow. Oh well, that's the price you pay for farming on an estate the size of ours. Most of our plantings are doing well, but the cucumbers seem to be growing way too slowly. We'll try moving them into a more sunny location and see how that works out. That is one good thing about container gardening. I will have to do some laundry today.
The house looks great after our recent round of painting. More to do, but that will wait until fall. I have more pictures to share in future blogs, but not in this one. Speaking of houses, we stopped in at Steph and Adam's possible estate and it looks great too. I noticed that they have some lilies that could use some thinning and/or transplantation. I have some horseradish that could use some transplantation too. Hmmm, seems like a nice chance for a trade.
Too much has happened in sports to report it all. However, I can say that the Heat won the NBA championship and the Blackhawks won their second Stanley Cup in four years.
Otherwise, I think it is time for bed and then a leisurely wake-up, plus...Tea time. Ciao
