Good morning or good evening, wherever you may be, across the nation and across the world. It is nearing 7:00 p.m. in "The City." It's a gloomy day outside the WW, but that didn't deter us from going out for yet another photo shoot right here in GH.
So rather than giving you my regular blog, I am going to devote this one to the pictures I took while we were on safari.
Probably a real "Three Hour Tour." |
Lots of places to walk at Linear Park. |
While usually with great views of the boats and the wildlife, no ducks or geese were present. |
At the Harbor Island Boat Launch, a multitude of materials form a nice frame for this plant. |
In the channel, these swans were searching for food. |
Whie this swan was just floating along nearby. |
And we spotted this crane across the way. |
The sky was indeed, "Sky Blue!" |
I snapped this shot of a gull in flight against the green backdrop. |
Mary pointed out yet another bee in search of nectar. |
The GVSU science dapartment boat was cruising home in front of this equipment at the Verplank Dock. |
These geese were at another pond on Harbor Island. |
No distractions, just the equipment, the piles of stone, and the azure blue sky. |
I am concerned that the weather tomorrow may not be favorable for the Hispanic Heritage Festival in Central Park. But, we'll keep our fingers crossed. However, It will b an overcast and cold day. Ciao.
