Good late afternoon GH.  Well, it has just passed the 5:00 PM mark here in our fair city, and it has been a pretty good day.  Mary and I walked with Sugar the Weather Dog this AM, and she proclaimed it to be a good day from her perspective.  She got to go to the bank and get a treat as her withdrawal, and I got to get some money which I promptly handed over to Mary for safekeeping.  Then, it was off to the big box stores for more fun.  We got a water heater blanket, a replacement for the shade in the bathroom, and then subsequently donated the old shade to the Goodwill store.  This was after a mostly non requiting trip to the big box retail store where we got new pillows and a few items in the pharmacy area.  Then it was off to another big box retailer where we got a nice little tree for the holidays.  All in all, it was a good afternoon, which required a stop at our favorite watering hole here in town.  The barkeep had his music playing, which was very enjoyable.  We got home, and lo and behold, a box arrived for Mary.  Turns out, that it was a calendar for my office and so that was all good.  Now, I just have to repaint the wall where the old one was hanging, because the stick on hook that isn't supposed to damage the wall, did in fact, damage the wall upon removal.  Oh well, I had to repaint part of the wall anyway, but this is a different color that requires my carrying two cans of paint up from the man cave.  At least, that's where the new hooks are located according to my locating system.  So, more work to be done.  Currently, the desktop temperature is a nice 42 degrees, and the view out the Weather Window is getting dark.  So, it is now time for dinner.   So, I'll be going down to watch some MSNBC and eat some Mac and Cheese.  Until next time,  Cioa.
