Good afternoon GH. It is now 3:00 PM here in our fair city, and the view out the Weather Window is partly cloudy. Currently the temperature on the desktop is a lovely 65 degrees. Sugar the Weather Dog is sleeping, albeit not in her upstairs bed, for reasons I don't yet understand. Mary and I returned from a four day trip to Dearborn, MI yesterday, and Sugar was sure glad to see us. Steph and Adam were here over those four days, and by all accounts, Sugar was well cared for and walked to total exhaustion. Steph was able to send an update on Sugar's snoring after her morning walk, so I know that she got what an active dog needs, exercise. While on our trip, Mary and I visited the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village. Over the next several blogs, I'll endeavor to include some of the pictures that I took. We also visited several small and medium towns along the way, including Hickory Corners, MI. home to the Gilmore Car Museum, and its vast and awe inspiring collection of American automobile memories and memorabilia. I'll also post some of those pictures too. Suffice it to say, that our homestead was in good hands and our furry baby was too. In fact, I think that Adam and Steph probably spoiled Sugar as much as I do. Adam did some painting while here, someone did some raking of leaves, and both of the young folks got in some relaxation, a tough commodity to come by. So, without further ado, I will post some pictures from our trip.
