Good morning or good evening, wherever you may be. It is just past 3:00 a.m. in "The City."
I was just outside with Ginger and the weather is as described by the meteorologists @ the NWS in GR,. 35° and partly cloudy. Later today, the high is forecast to reach 56° under mostly cloudy skies, but tomorrow, the high is forecast to reach 62° and we need never look back. The sun will rise today @ 6:27 a.m. and set @ 8:55 p.m. There is a freeze warning again this morning, exactly like the one that caused the local fruit farmers to employ the various methods they have to ward off the frost from the buds on the trees.
Let's keep it simple from here.
The Cubs did not play in Colorado against the Rockies last night due to weather. They are still scheduled to play today @ 2:10 p.m. Both the Tigers and my beloved Red Sox had the day off on Monday but they play tonight @ 9:40 and 7:40 pm. respectively in AZ and Milwaukee.
The Caps won their game against the Peoria Chiefs, 7 - 2. That win still finds the Caps in 2nd place in the MWL East with a record of 20 - 11, one game behind the Dayton Dragons.
I did my indoor chores and played with the girls for a short time. I finished my latest book, but I am slightly disappointed with the way it ended, with a whimper rather than a bang.
Mary finished most of the indexing and I edited most of it too. She will be putting the finishing touches on it today and I'll do the final edit.
Ginger will be going to the groomer today for a tune-up prior to our traveling later this week.
Otherwise, not much is scheduled for the day and that's fine with me. Ciao.
