Good morning or goo evening, wherever you may be. It is just past 3:30 a.m. in "The City."

A furtive glance out the WW and I can see that the winds have died down and there is no precipitation. We have a current temperature of 35.6° according to the DTWS and its associated FPMS. I also have some personal experience, as I was just outside with the fur-children and it is still windy and it feels much colder as a result. Today's high is forecast by the NWS to reach down to 34°. The sun will rise @ 7:06 a.m. and set @ 6:44 p.m. We'll see a steady erosion of high temperatures into the 20s for the next several days, not returning to the mid-30s until Wednesday of next week.

We found time to go down to the waterfront and take some pictures of the waves on the "Big Lake." We weren't alone in our plan, as there were many others there for the experience. Here are some random pictures of the waves in the channel and the lake itself.

We safely made it to GR yesterday in spite of the high winds. The trip east was less perilous than our return trip as the winds seemed to have picked up around 3:30 p.m. as we returned. My actual visit to the hospital went well and all I have to do now is await the results. I'm not certain, but it seemed as though the sound produced by the MRI machine was less this time. Mary spent the time working on her index in the hospital cafeteria.

We stopped @ JWs for dinner and then home to feed the fur-children and watch some TV. 10:00 p.m. gave us the opportunity to watch our new favorite show, Designated Survivor, starring Kiefer Sutherland. We're liking this show a lot!

Today, I have to put on my baker's hat again and bake another loaf of my rye bread. I am going to attempt to put it into a loaf pan rather this time than baking it on a flat sheet so that I get a more loaf-like result. We shall see.

In addition, later today, more reading, more playing with the girls and more doing as little as possible while Mary tried to finish her indexing project. Ciao.
