Good morning or good evening, wherever you may be. It is just past 4:00 a.m. in "The City."

What a morning. I am using the internet now to publish this blog, but the service was out for over two hours prior to this time. I just got off chat with the internet provider and they told me that our service was "Degraded." by a general outage. However, they are not given any information beyond that. That means slow if it is working at all. I assured the representative that indeed, the service was back as I was using a live chat session. I asked for a credit for service time and they will call me in the morning to tell me what I already know, the service is back and what my credit will be. When you have one cable/internet provider, this is all you get.

At any rate, the current temperature is 33° as we head for today's high of 32° with a 60% chance of precipitation and 17 mph winds. It will be a wet and cold morning walk with the fur-children. The sun will rise today @ 8:04 a.m. and set later this evening @ 5:50 p.m.

Yesterday, we went over to Spring Lake to get my glasses repaired. It took about 10 minutes and there was no additional charge. There is an advantage to using a local business versus the internet or a fast glasses place. Other than that, we didn't do much yesterday.

GTTSD and I are awaiting today's train runs if any occur. Speaking of Ginger, she is repentant regarding her recent spate of mischief. Repentant, yes, but she must have a little voice whispering in her ear that says, "Go for it girl, you know you want to, so just do it." She needs to heed a different muse that advises against the mischief. Fortunately, she is cute, so it is easy to overlook destructive things that she does. Our only concern is that she will harm herself or chew up something that can't be replaced.

Today we have an appointment at the chiropractor and that is the only requisite activity. I want to play with the girls and do some additional reading, I should go to the library to return some books too. We want to walk downtown without the fur-children anyway. Since STWD is reluctant to go any direction that doesn't include a stop at The Bookman for a treat, she won't mind. However, if we go to the library, Ginger cannot go in. Since we can't leave her alone, she will have to be crated, which will not make her happy.
