Good morning or good evening, wherever you may be. It is just past 1:00 a.m. in "The City."

Let's keep this one short and sweet.

The current temperature is 22° though it feels like 19°. The high later today is forecast to be 35° under clear skies. The sun will rise @ 8:13 a.m. and set @ 5:35 p.m.

We had a very productive day yesterday. We made that pilgrimage to Holland and everything went smoothly. We stopped and picked up the reserve CO2 cartridge for my soda maker. We picked up some almond butter for future use. We stopped @ the big-box home center and picked up some distilled water for our humidifier and some paper towels.

Next, we went to downtown Holland and picked up a new cooling rack and another small cookie sheet. We followed that with a stop at that shoe store that my chiropractor told us had some hiking shoes that would fit me. They did and since they were in the bargain basement, they were 40% off. Apparently, this store usually has shoes of various styles in my size or they can order them. Finally, a stop @ a grocery store in the Holland area and then home for a quick stop @ JWs for adult libations.

After all of our shopping, carrying things in was a long job. Mary had to calm GTWD down as she had been without human attention for nearly five hours. Ginger slept after dinner, as she was tired from being on sentry duty all afternoon.

Mary made spaghetti roll casserole for out dinner. She was less than ecstatic about her efforts, but I liked it. We spent some time watching an old movie on TV and then Mary read and I watched some football. We both ended our evening upstairs, but then I went back down and washed the dishes from dinner. I think since Mary does the majority of the cooking, it is only fair that I do the cleanup.

I thought I could go to sleep, but I couldn't, so now I am blogging.

Later today, we have nothing to do and all day to get it done, so I plan to play with the girls, read, and do a crossword, while Mary plans to read and veg out. She may or may not make pancakes for breakfast. But the pancakes could become French toast instead. That may be problematical, as the bread I made the other day is a dense whole wheat, which does not make good French toast.

To borrow from that famous cartoon pig, "That's all folks!" Ciao.
