Good morning or good evening, wherever you may be, across the nation and across the world. It is just past 4:30 a.m. in "The City."
Le't s get the important information out of the way first thing. We have a Dense Fog Advisory in effect until 1:00 p.m. today. Some areas will experience zero visibility causing hazardous driving conditions at times. The sun will rise later this morning @ 7:56 a.m. and set this afternoon/evening @ 6:01 p.m. In between, we will have a 90% chance for rain and a high temperature of 43°. Hmmm, I guess that means that the temperature will have to fall one degree.
We had an interesting day yesterday. We tried to get our Smart Phone to be less of a wiseguy by getting the pop up ads to stop, but the fix suggested by the store was short lived. We'll have to try another fix, if possible.
Otherwise, we stopped at Stan's Bar and Grill in Spring Lake before they closed early on Super Bowl LIII Sunday. As is too often the case, the Patriots played just well enough to win the Game over the Rams, 13 - 3. This game was a defensive struggle that was about as boring as watching paint dry, grass grow, or people in sunglasses play poker. Plus, the commercials were mediocre, at best, and the half-time show was no better.
Lunch was the last of the recent loaf of bread that Mary had baked. I'd like to say that it was more memorable, but it just wasn't. Dinner on the other hand was the best pizza that Mary has made to date. Vegan pepperoni, vegan cheese, along with black olives for me, combined to make this a great tasting dinner.
Today, I have my fourth P/T appointment en-route to full usage of my shoulder, which is feeling better, more-so some days than others. I still have a long way to go, but I should be out of this accursed sling by early next week.
We hope to enjoy the day after that appointment, but the rainy/foggy conditions may preclude the possibility of taking a drive anywhere far. We shall see. Mary wanted to take some pix with our camera, but I cannot hold it, so she would have to do all of the picture taking. Plus, I won't go anywhere I can slip and fall on some black ice, so...
Otherwise, we have no specific plans. Read today's edition of the Grand Haven Tribune, and other sundry activities. Ciao.
