Good morning or good evening, wherever you may be, across the nation and
across the world. It is just past 6:30 a.m. in "The City."
The current temperature is 38° under cloudy skies. Today's high
is
forecast to reach 38° under skies that will be cloudy this morning, giving way to sunny skies this afternoon. The sun will rise today @ 8:01 a.m. and
set later @ 5:09 p.m.
There is a Small Craft Advisory in effect for the "Big
Lake" until 11:00 p.m. tonight.
A Small Craft Advisory means that winds or waves are expected to
produce hazardous conditions to small craft. Inexperienced
mariners, especially those operating smaller vessels should
avoid navigating in these conditions.
Otherwise, I am going to follow the K.I.S.S. formula for this edition of my blog. That's because I have more reading to do and I want to get back to that ASAP. I am reading done my latest novel, entitled Mycroft Holmes by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Anna Waterhouse. A fascinating take on the career of Sherlock Holmes older brother, Mycroft.
We had a rather mundane day yesterday. Mary had an appointment in the afternoon and I did some painting. So far, she likes what I have painted, so I'll defer to her better sense of what looks good.
I stayed out of the kitchen yesterday. I didn't go out except for the morning ritual with the fur-children and later their evening ritual. Somehow, the world didn't end without me.
I also did some picking and grinning with the girls too.
So, today, we have an early appointment @ the chiropractor and that's about it. I'm okay with that as I find my lack of ambition very soothing.
If I can avoid anything strenuous, it should be an all around good day. Ciao
