Wow, everything almost went according to plan yesterday. Of course, there is always something that gets in the way, but that's the way the ball bounces sometimes.
I carried my fall decorations up from the man-cave and then left them for Mary to place. Once I am done, I am done. Plus, her sense of placement is always better than mine. That being said, I went off to get my hair cut and when returned, I espied the results of her handiwork. Naturally, I had to take some pix.

Some 4 x 4s, some paint, and a few tree branches, and voila, pumpkins. |
Another blockheaded ghost. |

Frankenstein's Monster and a mummy. |
I made some vegan Italian sausages and some pesto using our home grown basil. I had to use the basil or lose it, as its growing season is drawing to a close. I worked the weekend crossword from the Grand Haven Tribune and then we made a short visit to JWs.
We watched some TV news and then some game shows before I retired upstairs to tun in NCIS for our viewing pleasure. Once that program was over, Mary returned to the downstairs to watch The FBI and I stayed up to watch that and another episode of NCIS New Orleans. I am nearly finished with my latest novel.
I was watching NCIS New Orleans when Mary came up to share what she had just seen in the front yard of the manse. She took a picture with her Smart Phone, but it was already too dark to get a great shot. I'll include what she did get in a large format to help your viewing. Remember, if you click on a pic, you get the largest version possible.
